When America doesnt stand with a UNITED FRONT at its borders its very difficult if not impossible to accomplish its objectives. Foreigners take advantage of the rifts caused by people like Murtha, Pelosi and others that put POLITICAL INTERESTS ahead of AMERICAN INTERESTS. If you cant see that, then you are hopelessly stuck in the Democratic rut. jdn ______________- So anything the republicans do is representative of "American Interests"? Their lousy border proposals? Their terrible handling of the post-Saddam occupation of Iraq, which has led to where we are now? The documented billions in lost money, poor equipment, and political naivity? Just get behind the president, huh? I am sure you did all that with Clinton and Bosnia... If you want to put American Interests first, question leaders and challenge preconceived notions. Iraq will not be a western democracy. Won't happen. History, culture, religion, socioeconomic trends won't let it happen. But you would rather just gather behind the President and the gang that has gotton everyting wrong from WMD to Maliki. why?
