Bush was busted for cocaine in 1972. That's why Rove set up Rather with the phony document. But Rather's story was 100% true, and just the tip of the iceberg. The fact is Bush couldn't report to the Guard in 1972 because he had just been arrested for cocaine, and his father was busy covering it up for him and purging it front the records. Only about ten people know about this but two of them talked in 1998, two party buddies of GW's. The writer they spoke to was found dead a year later.
