The thing about diesel is, truckers use it. IMO-You just happen to get caught in the middle.

A cause and effect kind of thing.
Trucking one of the way this country moves the goods and some services. Simple as when prices get high enough. Maybe more customers who can, might make a switch to rail. Many rails offer and can accommodate trucking containers.
When the dollar is low, simple as, global customers transport more goods for export. You can take it from there.<g>
