Certainly stocks like ALU and NT have large upside potential if they fix their businesses, but if you are risk averse you can look at strong leaders in tech that have gotten hammered and have no balance sheet or core business problems. Stocks like EMC come to mind, large cash position, leading business position, and the bonus of a large potential spinoff of their stake in VMware, which after VMware cratered is STILL worth north of 12B...
