Q is again showing a device that illustrates their vision for "pocketable computing" with the Snapdragon chipset. Unfortunately, the prototype still has the MSM7201a processor...but at least this time, they acknowledged the discrepancy.
OTOH, the fact that they believe that they will be able to get to sub-$300 pricepoints is a very big deal. That immediately makes these mainstream devices. They will just need the carriers to offer more flexible pricing plans.

Hands-on with the Qualcomm ‘Pocketable Computing Device’ prototype

Did a little fondling of a prototype device from Qualcomm that’ll be hitting the market soon at under $300. It’s basically a super beefed-up Windows Mobile machine similar in size to the Nokia N810 (and with a QWERTY keyboard to match). The big feature is the 1GHz processor that it’ll have and its ability to play HD movies.
