RE: "I dont know a soul on this planet who tells
people, "I love my Dell," or "MyCompaq rocks," or
whatever, but there are many Apple Cult members
everywhere who cite how much they love their Macs
or PowerMacs."

No. Some Windows users say "My pentium rocks" or whatever.

Has Apple ever considered the following proposition?:

1. Write the Mac OS for x86 processors.
2. Allow users of x86 systems to say "My Mac OS rocks"

A couple of other random thoughts.

1. Apple is supposedly "visionary" again.
I take it people are working late and on weekends
to realize this new "vision" of network computers?

2. It seems almost criminal that Apple cannot turn a
huge profit on the incredible revenues that it
generates, especially considering that the overwhelming
consensus is that the hardware sells at a premium.
Where is all the money going.
