Let's not forget that HDs have been the limiting factor in PCs for years now as CPU performance has gone up up up. So removing that limiting factor from PCs, who knows how fast SSDs can really go. In fact the PCs may be in need of a new IO interface to SSDs to harvest all that speed. There is no question in my mind that SSDs are the future. It is just a matter of time.
