Golden Star Names D. Scott Barr Operating Chief This looks like very good news. I had some concern that the CEO defaulted to the interim financial officer, but the choice of an experienced COO from Newmont is encouraging: "The Denver mining company and gold producer said Barr previously was with Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM), where he served in many roles, including chief technical officer."
