Iraq - ABSOLUTELY no threat to our country.

Afghanistan - revenge for 9/11 - no threat.

WWII - the Japanese had no plans to invade the mainland US, and the Germans finally decided not to even invade England. WWII was all about saving Europe.

We haven't had to actually defend this country since the Civil War.
