Ted Turner rivals J Chris Parsons for the dumbest remark of the decade:

Interviewed Tuesday for Charlie Rose's PBS show, CNN founder Ted Turner argued that inaction on global warming "will be catastrophic" and those who don't die "will be cannibals."

He goes on to call Iraqi insurgents "patriots". I don't know whether he applies that term because they are killing their own countrymen, or because they're killing Americans. To him, I suppose it doesn't matter.

Then, "even with our $500 billion military budget, we can't win in Iraq. We're being beaten by insurgents who don't even have any tanks."

Of course, anyone who is paying attention can see that we are NOT "being beaten". The only way we will be beaten is if sorry-assed liberals are able to gather enough power to force us out before we finish the job.
