All senior citizens who had no experience on how the market works over the long term. They were born, grew up and started working under communist regime. Then China started to change about 30 years ago, by the time it got evident that the times had changed they didn't have the memory we have.

So they invested and lost. It is in this type of market that bubbles are created and people get fleeced.

Fleece means you invest 100K, become 800K. You are back to 100K and thinh you get fleeced. But you just 'lost' you time and head ache.

Why I never get fleeced? I remember like today: 1995. Reading The Economist, inside my Toyota Kijang, passing by Bandung Airport I spotted a company that would skyrocket and would become a juggernaut... It was a story about two Stanford engineers who had developed a way for two networks to 'talk' to each other. Their product was called a router.

Had known data communications, I said if I buy the shares of this company I will get rich. That because we used to have different netowrks that could not communicated across.

I said to myself: this is going to be huge. I invested no one cent in CSCO. Hd I done so, I would have hold it up and then hold it all the way down and got fleeced.
