The Bloomberg article you mentioned waw authored by the analyst from the Red Chip Review, based out of Portland, Oregon.

Just a point of order about Zack's. They do not actually put out an estimate, they compile the consensus of the estimates posted by analysts that follow the stock. And that consensus is $.11. I'm a little confused because I am pretty sure the Cruttenden Roth analyst had a $.13 estimate not too long ago. He may have lowered it though.

Also, remeber that MATR is still amortizing about $9.2 million in goodwill this quarter, so the number you will initially see reported will be loss of around $.14. ALL of the estimates have this built as they are estimating operating profits and not the true bottom line. In the past there has been confusion on release day as people see a number that looks so different from what was expected.

For the record, I think they might beat $.11. I think they may do $.12 or $.13, but it is only a hunch. My feeling is the third
quarter was sneaky good. And that revenue growth may be starting to pick up.

I think the big guys have been waiting for MATR to grow the top line before buying the stock, because without top line growth all the earnings came from cost savings resulting from the merger. It looks like the big guys are buying pretty heavily so I am deducing that the revenue growth is starting to come and therefore earnings may be a little better than expected. No sense worrying too much though we'll know for sure about this time next week. I'm looking forward to the conference call.
