Just to add some minor detail. From the article: "We expect to be on 45-nm in the middle of 2009"

So the reference to the fourth quarter is (internal/external?) samples. Usually it takes at least half a year from sampling to availability. Maybe this is quote is a mistake though as they also claimed they (Numonyx) would be the first NOR company to use 45nm.

Btw, it's probably semantics but the article doesn't even say that PCM is their first 45nm product (although PCM is the subject of the whole article).
