Wall Street had its own Super Tuesday this week. And when they rang Friday's closing bell, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -10.61% YTD, a definite improvement over the prior Friday close of down -14.75% YTD.
The Nasdaq Biotech Index and the Contest portfolios also managed impressive gains for the week. At week's end, the NBI was down -3.15% YTD (vs. -8.08% YTD a week ago), while the median of the Contest portfolios closed down -7.85% YTD (vs. -11.25% YTD a week ago).
At Friday's close, 12 of the 33 Contest portfolios were in the black YTD with 14 of the portfolios beating the NBI. ROBERT's portfolio held on to the lead with a stellar 30.21% YTD gain and CASA's portfolio shot into second place with a 10.97% YTD gain.
