You got it. Economies boom when there is innovation and value creation, not this ridiculous paper shuffling and gambling. All the other stuff - tax rates, interest rates, government policy - they're just noise on the big trends. If even a handful of our "leaders" - government, Wall Street, or CEOs - would recognize that fact and support a substantial push into biotech and global warming solutions, we'd have our next boom. Instead the idiots are busy trying to rescue the villains of the housing bubble. Makes me want to turn in my citizenship... `BC
