this is why the royalty swaping is also like locking them out of the market, as there is no level playing field right now.

I guess I'll take your word for it, but even if the 16% rate exists, what about it seems unfair to you? Is it not fair that the inventors of GSM be compensated for their R&D work? Is it just the amount that they are purportedly charging that seems unreasonable?
