Obviously I disagree with just about every point Rodgers makes. I don't think it would be worthwhile restating every point with a "not", or "doesn't", so I won't make an extensive argument.

But I will say that the idea that the idea that our tax burden is low because other countries have a higher tax burden is a pretty weak argument.

As for the founding fathers, taxes at much lower levels than today's where considered intolerable to them and where a big part of the reason for the revolution.
