Dan Rather's story about Bush was 100% right, and more than that, it was only the tip of the iceberg. The 1972 cocaine bust of GW Bush and the family sweeping it under the rug and getting it purged was the real story, which was why the Bush campaign had to destroy Rather to stop him from going any further. In those days, 1972, GW Bush was a total F-up. While Kerry had just come back from real combat in Vietnam where he'd killed real enemies in harsh conditions without any air support of safety nets.
