Bobby Kennedy became a major enemy of fascists McCarthy and Hoover. He was named a godson of McCarthy by hyis parents when he was a little kid, back when McCarthy was a moderate democrat and before he turned into the rightwing Republican monster and traitor he became.

Today's rightwing media is patently dishonest about their revisionist smear that Bobby Kennedy was "in with" McCarthy. He was no more in with him that your worst enemy is in with you. In fact it was probably friends of McCarthy who murdered Bobby Kennedy, and his brother, and Martin Luther King.
