That article required some extreme "objective" editing, didn't it, Nadine? I don't even think it's particularly "intellectually honest" to claim the "prompting" thing, since I highly doubt any of the "global warming stopped in 1998" crowd admitted to any possibility of global warming in the 1998 time frame either. If you look at the second one, it appears that every year after 1995 is warmer than 1995 and every year before. E.g. the last 10 years on that graph are the warmest 10 years on record. Claiming that the 1998 spike means global warming has stopped is good conservative "science", no doubt, but pretty dubious reasoning outside the "facts and logic" regime that rules in LindyBill's Church of W.
