When I was in college I worked part time as a bartender, and had to listen to guys like Rolla politely so I would get a nice tip. They always said the same thing, "if I was a woman, I'd be a millionaire. You're sitting on a gold mine." It's just one of their fantasies.
There were, in fact, prostitutes working there, but they weren't millionaires. It just doesn't work like that. Selling sex makes women hard-faced and callous. Men don't really like that.
They like the fresh faced new ones, before the women realize what a nasty game they're trying to play. Women want love, we're hard wired for it. Men want sex, they're hard wired for it. And the reproductive strategies don't match.
Yes, there are professionals who do well selling other women's bodies, madams, pimps, but not the girls themselves. Madams only have sex with men they like, or men who pay enough to make them not care. Not with an endless round of sweaty factory workers and pimply faced office boys. |
