04 05 08 Remain in the bond fund

stockcharts.com

The link above is the list of fund available to us and there is a change this week in that the majority has crossed up over the blue 50dma line that I have mentioned so many times.

Last week I said that I may enter some stock fund if this were to happen and in fact anyone that is bullish on the start market this is the exact moment that you would want to consider entering stock funds.

This is a shorter term traders thoughts but this is not a shorter term traders site, this is a long term traders site.

I trade short term a lot and getting into the longer term mentality is difficult for me to say the least.

Although we have a signal that a possible rally is starting we dont have long term confirmation that a reveral has happened only that a uptrend within a down trend is happening.

The market will have extremely sharp up days within a down trend and this is to get traders that are unsure to enter at the exact top causing losses.

We have indentify a new down trend, it should last for several more months in my opinion.

When the actual bottom arrives we will likely miss the first 10 to 15% before we change to enter into stock funds. We will not catch the exact bottom. We will catch most of the middle hopefully.

I prefer to be cautious in a confirmed bear market that we are now in.

The bond fund that we are in is in a confirmed up trend. No stock fund that is available to use is in a confirmed uptrend and in fact all are in confirmed down trends.

Earning seasons is about to start and will likely move the markets and that may well be down if a recession is unfolding.

Wait for further confirmation.

looking at all the charts price may make a trip to the red line 34 week moving average before the next down trend. This is what happened in the uptrends that can be seen on the chart and down trends will follow the same movement traits.

Anyone just starting viewing this site dont enter the bond fund at this time and wait for the next change in fund recommendation.
