"Katrina should at least give us a clue." Well, it did for those capable of recognizing what a clue is. That was the event that scratched Smirk's teflon. It has been downhill for him ever since. It must have come as a shock to the GOP that the citizens of New Orleans were seen as American citizens by the rest of us and that the Bush administration's inaction gave further proof that they didn't care what happened to American citizens. It must be even more disconcerting how hard Americans have worked to revive New Orleans and to bring it back from total destruction.
