Guess we shoulda sit back and let Osama and Omar take the country and start their new caliphate off laughing at an America too timid to fight back after 3000 of its citizens were murdered on one day. Hate to say this, because I will be roundly criticized, but if this is truly a "generational war on terror" then the death of 3000 in pretty inconsequential. Look at the casualties from other US wars... 9/11 doesn't compare. Does it? Maybe it's because we are "fighting" religious nut cases that live in caves in the most God forsaken region of the world. Scared crapless that they will harm a hair on our head. So we're bankrupting the country to fight them where they are not, because where they are we can't get to them and they can't get to us. Which is exactly what they wanted when they got lucky on 9/11. Why does this make sense to you folks?
