I guess that comes from having such a hard head. Can you fathom making your living like that? Beating your head on solid wood all day? Yuk! The only thing that seems remotely close is being a crane, standing on one foot in ice cold water waiting for a fish to come by.

Maybe moles and gophers have it worse. They are in the dark all the time and can't fly.
