I broke down and resubscribed to HBO.

I couldn't stand it any longer.

I started watching the reruns of John Quincy Adamas and have seen two episodes so far. I have two more to go to catch up before episode V airs tomorrow night.

I never found the colonial period and American revolution all that interesting when having had to study it in school -- I'm a modern times kind of guy -- but I have so far found these two episodes rather compelling, and even a bit stirring. For all the hours I have spent watching Oz and Gary Shandling, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Real Time, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage, it's the first time I've ever really felt proud to be a subscriber to HBO.
