Actually I think the Chinese leadership is mostly afraid of its own people... and now with more western exposure and the internet the genie is leaking out of the bottle... and I think they fear becoming another Russia.. The possibility is certainly not improbable.. and a positive solution for the US... Lots of games going on far beyond who has the most sins..
