OK. I don't put much stock in committee memberships for senators or Congressmen compared to people who actually worked in a national security or foreign policy bureaucracy and had to make real decisions.

It's like taking someone who has seen lots of movies and asking them to direct the next $100 million blockbuster Hollywood will produce.

They never actually do hardly anything in the policy chain.
