Unfortunately for the dollar, yes. If they thought detonation was a viable alternative, IMO they would not have engineered the expropriation of BSC

So now that they've chosen the path of absorption, it's in for a penny, in for a pound -- "let it fail" appears to be off the table

"Now the mess will simply get bigger because of the moral hazard?"

That's exactly what Santelli said was spurring the buying on Friday, i.e. equity traders have again been prodded into believing they are still bulletproof here

No fear, just look at the VIX. I think we go sideways for a while until Q2 starts to take shape as the disaster I expect it to be, then denial will be more difficult
