Wow. I think you must be out of touch. To understand how much Wellesley College costs, you need to look at today's dollars. From their website, for the 2008-9 school year, here are the costs for tuition, room, board, fees, and meals for a Resident:
* $48,000 per year
* $192,000 for 4 years

That is a good comparison to what it cost back when she went if you put it in today's dollars. Without stretching the imagination, it is obvious to any reasonable person that her parents were rich to be able to afford to send her there.
The bottom line is that Hillary was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and she's been handed all the best things in life without having to work for them. She has no connection to what the rest of us have to go through to provide for our families and make a good living. Obama on the other hand knows exactly what it takes, because he's a self-made man all the way, including paying for his own college education. |
