I read Beowulf many years ago in High School for pleasure, and it was not part of an assignment. I loved it.

I suppose, now that it has been discovered on film, that I should reread it. en.wikipedia.org

How's tricks?

Well, we had to cancel a trip to Montana due to illness. I had wanted to research a couple of Masters Theses at the Mansfield Library, and then visit The Medicine Tree. We'll have to reschedule, I'm afraid.

The Medicine Tree is dead now, but in the 19th Century it was a sacred site of the Salish People.

It had a bighorn sheep skull and horns embedded in it about six feet off the ground. They were sawed off about a hundred years ago. Indigenous People brought sacrifices to the tree, and that practice is still going on today.
