Your points are excellent. I fully agree...but what will change? How do we move from a government system that insists on spending more an creating more programs to a system that believes the less government, the better?
If you were to say, vote Republican, I would have to remind you that back in 2000 we all did that...we wanted the government shutdown of 1998 to be implemented not through confrontation within government but to be embodied in government policy.....less spending, balanced budgets, reduction of federal programs.
We voted republican and what did we get? Big new government programs (medicare Part D, no child left behind, etc.) the highest domestic spending since Johnson...and this with Republicans fully in charge.
So, just voting republican isn't the answer...
How do we change things befor it is forced upon us through our enemies deciding to play with the debt they own, the standard of living being reduced through artificially high interest rates we will have to pay...The next generation of American youth may decide they just won't play the game.
