Here are the 56k comparason test results: The test results are here: zdnet.com The most resonable interpretation seems to be that the network model coverage is the test PCMag designed to be most representative of real world results. My guess is that the most widely used 56k modem is the USR/3Com Sportster internal, not the much more expensive Courier. The test methodology is here: zdnet.com Some fanatics have recently posted that they don't care about stinking tests, they just want to cling to their beliefs. Let them remain in the dark ages.
