i was talking with a neighbor who repairs heavy duty lawn equipment yesterday. we were discussing a recent post on si that identified numerous contractors going into bankruptcy.

He mentioned the stores cannot give away heavy duty lawn tractors or other cutting machines. He is talking about john deer etc., who sell to contractors... seems first thing to go for the home owner is dropping the independent small business lawn folks. His last comment, dozens in the area are going out of business before the season starats as not many are renewing up for lawn service this year.
