From Intel's point of view, they anticipate 50% of their CPU production to be Pentium II. They will have to cut prices a lot to get enough demand for these chips. That will force prices of Pentium MMX 233 to < $150 by end of 1H98. By the time the enhanced K6 and M2 make it to the market, Pentium MMXs will be where Pentium classic is now. Joe
