SHLD, following the Eddie Lampert strategy of, "if you can't say anything nice...", release little, if any mid-quarter or monthly guidance. That's become more common with publicly traded companies as things get shaky. They'll be excluded from damning lists such as these and can then deliver the bad news concurrently with damage control on their own terms and schedule, and only as required, ie. once a quarter.
