AQ wasn't in Iraq before we invaded Indisputably incorrect. and the Shia will drive it from Iraq once we leave. There is no evidence to suggest this is true. The ONLY reason they are there is that WE are there. There is no doubt that the war in Iraq has caused the presence of AQ in Iraq to intensify. If you're in a war (and AQ WAS in a war against us before Iraq), you go where the battles are. And killing them one-by-one is fine. Why do you think we have not had the suicide bombings here? The fact is that there exist a very limited number of these fanatics who are willing to give up their lives for the "cause" of killing Americans. Every one of them we kill there is one fewer we have to deal with possibly getting here and doing damage in the USA.
