I've been gradually increasing my allocation to USD and reducing AUD over the last several months. I also bought a little RMB via the CNY ETF. The USD is overvalued against some East Asian currencies like RMB, Singapore Dollar but undervalued against almost everything else. Sometimes dramatically (Pound, Euro). I reckon purchasing power parity with the Aussie is about $US0.70. At least looking at tradeable goods. Some services - education and medicine are cheaper here (Australia) obviously though most other services are not (haircuts, bus rides etc.).
