You are contradicting yourself. On the one hand you say that the PC as we know it is doomed. Sure. But in the same note, you say that it is fine and dandy to buy intc cpq hwp and ibm. Do you really think that if the absolutely audacious prediction that people will stop buying PC's beggining, get this, in the CHRISTMAS SELLING SEASON actually (when hell freezes over)happens, that these stocks can still go higher. If what you are forecasting (and palmists would be more accurate than this)comes true, then the companies you mentioned will go down buy 80%. How on earth can you recommend them to people? ADDI, the world is not flat as you say, though people will continue to believe that it is. Also, PCs will continue to be a fine GROWTH industry (ie more will be sold next year and more the year after and so on) even though you SAY THE PC as we know it is DOOMED. Will you promise to me and the rest of the thread that you will come back and beg for our forgiveness for ever telling us that the PC industry is dead and buried. By the way Addi, can you make sure Compusa has a full stocking of sunw's unix workstations for this christmas. As you know, I won't be wanting a PC.
