Glad you like it, KLP. Obama is very impressive verbally. He reminds me of Wayne Gretzky at his peak: an effortless weave that goes right through the opposing line. 10,000 can watch him do it and yet nobody quite fathoms how he does it.

And yet. The more people see Obama weave and slide by, the more they will be reminded of Clinton, and I'm not talking about Hillary. Just as the messianic pixiedust of February seems to have evaporated off Obama, leaving him a mere mortal politician, I expect that the weaving and parsing will begin to catch up to him, no matter how much the media are in the tank for him - and boy are they ever. But they can't control all the channels like they could in the old days.

Long time to go yet. I still think it's far from sure that Obama will even be the nominee, despite the CW to the contrary.
