Democratic candidates are very wrong on trade. This is a classic example of populism overwhelming reason. The low dollar is already rekindling exports, just about the only part of the economy that's growing, while at the same time moderating and even reversing outsourcing. Adopting anti trade positions, especially at a time like this, has got to take the economic insanity prize.
