MDN Inc.: The T7 Zone Confirmed With High-Grade Results

ccnm

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 9, 2008) - MDN Inc. ("MDN") (TSX:MDN) is pleased to announce the first results from the 2007 surface exploration drilling program of the gold mineralization around the Tulawaka open pit mine in Tanzania. The first part of the 2007 program within the Tulawaka Joint Venture permits targeted the T7 Zone located at 7 kilometres from the Tulawaka open pit.

Drilling of the T7 Zone with 2,001m of RC drilling and 1,528m of AC drilling returned promising results such as 15.48g/t gold over 5m or 10.7g/t gold over 3m. These high-grade intersections confirm the earlier gold discovery with 13.50g/t gold over 3.5m in D0356 and can now be traced over a distance of about 400m and remains opened laterally and at depth. Follow-up drilling of the T7 gold prospect is planned in 2008.

The best results are presented in the following table.

Drilling was done with the reverse circulation (RC) or air core (AC) techniques. Because of the nature of these drilling techniques, it is not possible to accurately determine the true width and orientation of the mineralized intersections.

Samples were analyzed by fire assays at the SGS Laboratories in Tanzania, certified in accordance with international standards. Quality controls were carried out by the operator.

These drilling results near the Tulawaka Mine were provided to the partners by the project operator who supervised the program. The information was reviewed by Dominique Fournier, Ph.D., who acted as qualified person in accordance with NI 43-101.

The Tulawaka Project is a joint-venture between MDN (30%) and Pangea Goldfields (70%), a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corporation and project operator through its own Tanzanian subsidiary Pangea Minerals Ltd.

MDN is an exploration company of which its head office is located in Montreal, Canada. In Tanzania, as well as the 30% participating interest in the Tulawaka Gold Mine, MDN holds a controlling participation in 28 prospecting licenses located within a 50-kilometre radius from the mine.
