I think I may have heard one of the bulls mumbling something about a double bottom??? Don't you just love Merrill Lynch's new commercial?? They claim to have the financial resources and the wisdom to guide us all through these difficult times....only they are breaking all the records on losses and are teetering on insolvency??? Pretty brazen if you ask me. They cut some of their losses by putting my 85 year old mother in law (couldn't have happened to a nicer person)in 30 year mortgages just before the bottom fell out of the MBS market. I suspect they had a few in inventory they could let her have at a good price??? Pretty good strategy on their part, she will be long gone before she can prove any real losses occurred :-)
