The dream scenario is a Obama win with 55% or so, another 5-6 Democratic senators and a bloc of Republicans like Hagel and Voinivich who might defy their whips and overcome filibusters on legislation that will help get us out of Iraq.

Of course, if a President Obama starts ordering units home, not much the Senate can do to stop him, in practice.
