My sources in Vancouver have told me thus far there is NOTHING wrong with Vista Gold.
They, ie. geologists and mining equipment vendors who I have talked to recently have told me they seem to be doing fine. The site in Bolivia, for instance, holds alot of promise.
I have also learned:
Gold has tanked because the Russians and other develping nations have dumped their gold hoards at firesale prices to generate cash for their growing ecomomies.
Demand for gold, even in the far east where it was supposed to have increased dramtically, has been less than expected.
Other possible reasons for the depressed Vista Gold price:
Inflation is down. Tech stocks and other stocks have been very compelling.
The Bre-X debacle.
Bad press. And everything else you may have heard.
Vista Gold closed at 3/8 today. They're giving it away.
Hey Mark(Skousen), your pick was right but your timing was off! Back up the truck and load up on this one!
