If we had enough workers mass-producing solar panels and making home installations more affordable, the cycle would feed on itself with growing demand at cheaper prices.

I wouldn't be in a rush to put solar in my house at current prices; but at a third of today's rate, I would seriously consider it with what I would save on power bills.

Solar panels are a better investment than someone slapping together more Ford F150's.
