I have substantial physical holdings of gold (and silver) that I really don't consider part of my portfolio. It is not for sale under any circumstances and represent monetary meltdown insurance. I'm not net short gold, but I'm short substantial paper gold. I'm also short euro and short the US consumer in about every and any way possible. I have no longs whatsoever except long cold hard US dollar cashola.
