Intel & Cyrix Investors : Compaq/Cyrix Incompatibilities"

Microsoft's Internet Explorer may not be 100% Compatible with some of Compaq's Presario Models. The ones listed as COMPATIBLE DO NOT INCLUDE the Model 2100.

I kind of remember that the Model 2100 was the sub $1000 Compaq that uses the Cyrix Media GX chip.

It is rather suspicious that Compaq DOES NOT LIST THIS model as COMPATIBLE with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0.

Seems the Presario 2100/MediaGX requires a slight "update" from Microsoft to make it work properly.

I wonder what this all means? Doesn't x86 compatible mean Windows Compatible?

I guess there's "compatible" and "almost compatible"!

Check it out!
