Paul It can just as well be one of the software drivers. General rule of thumb is if something doesn't work, it's most likely the software. I know. I am a programmer ;) If I was the person who found the anomalies of, for example Pentium FPUs, my first suspicion would have been that there is something with the software, before I ruled it out.
