from my inbox.. "Bottom Line Secrets" :

------------
Some companies are still reporting strong earnings growth despite the weak economy. These stars include small companies that occupy niches in expanding industries, says fund manager Nancy Prial.

She especially favors companies that are improving both sales and market share and that are likely to move from slower to more rapid growth. The idea is to buy the stocks before the crowd discovers how valuable they are and bid up prices. Prial looks for winners in expanding fields, such as software and environmental protection. She prefers companies that can increase earnings at a rate of at least 15% for the next 12 to 18 months. Her favorite stocks now include...

Kaydon Corporation (KDN). This manufacturer makes bearings for wind turbines. Sales are soaring as the country seeks clean sources of power. Operating income is expected to grow at an annual rate of 25%, but the shares only sell for a price-earnings ratio (P/E) of 17, below the average figure for the Standard & Poor's 500 Stock Index. Recent share price: $45.90.

CyberSource Corporation (CYBS). This company provides software that enables companies to accept credit-card purchases over the Internet. Revenues have been growing at an annual rate of more than 100%, as businesses scramble to expand their E-commerce sales. Recent share price: $14.07.
